What’s Next… Matchday 18

This time, the 90 minute curse, worked for us. Let’s hope that this is a sign that our luck will change in the second round.

The match with Paderborn is history. Let’s take a look at the next one in Audi Sportpark.
Ingolstadt is the last team in the league table with 10 points in 17 matches and only two wins. I believe that matchday 18 is going to be a walk in the park for the boys in brown but let’s take a look at what happened in the previews matches…

This time history is on our side for sure. In the matches we had with Ingolstadt the passed three years we won all three of them.
In 2008 Ludwig gave us the three points on 44’, inside Millerntor, in a pretty narrow game with a lot of yellow cards (6 for Ingolstadt and 1 for us).
Back in 2009, guess what… Ludwig saved the day again, this time on 86’ in Audi Sportpark. Once again the game was pretty boring.
In the first match of the season (July 2011), we won against Ingolstadt in Millerntor with a 2-0 score having Boll in best shape and finding his way to the nets twice (51’ and 69’). It was a perfect way to start the season and fortunately, the boys in brown keep going having St. Pauli in the fourth place (for now), only 2 points away from the first, fighting their way back to bundesliga.

I believe that we will witness a big victory against Ingolstadt and that our fans will turn Audio Sportpark into Millerntor.
