Death by…Kapllani…

FCSP visit to Frankfurt for the game vs FSV proved another traumatic experience… This time, things were slightly different though… Our hosts played worse than expected, considering their results so far and their position on the table, but whenever they needed a goal in the game, they simply had no problem scoring one… Talking about FCSP, we watched a willing Squad, a squad that was creating (and wasting) chances but, in the end, just didn’t have the solutions required…

No Greek TV coverage this time, hence no local coffee shop so the North suburbs Sky Bundesliga alternative was used. Of course, the owner (SC Freiburg fan) was more than happy seeing us, for an additional reason – giving us his warmest thanks for… Max Kruse… Snacks, strong beer, strong weed (outdoor table!) and good vibes… FSV Frankfurt first goal on 7′ caught us right on the point discussing about the early FCSP good start on the game and my sorry ass sayin’ that problems start always after the first 5-6 minutes – I think, it will take sometime until I will earn all my freedom-of-speech privileges back 🙂 Roshi after making a run on the left flank, unattended and OBSERVED by a few Boys in Brown as usual, fired a wonderful shot some 5 meters before the edge of the penalty area, Tschauner didn’t evaluate ball trajectory very well and 1-0 for FSV… SHAME to Kalla on 10′ when he outrageously tried to get a penalty from the Ref, the Karagounis way and DOUBLE THE SHAME to Ginczek for trying to do the same thing on 13′ – is this what you teach in the dressing rooms, Mr Schubert???  First BIG chance for FCSP on 18′ with Ginczek winning the run, getting in the box from the right but his shot deflecting in the opposite post – FUCK!!! New chance on 22′ with Bartels dribbling everyone on his way, but the final shot from just within the box ending just over the crossbar. Tremendous wasted opportunity with Bartels (oooh Fin 😦 ) on 27′, missing (after an excellent Daube assist) all alone in front of Klandt… Words though are not enough to describe what Ginczek done on 35, wasting a hard-to-believe Kalla pass beyond the center – better start practice shooting instead of diving boy… one way or another, first half concluded with the score to 1-0…

Interesting duel between Thorandt and someone… 🙂 (source:

Hosts got in the 2nd half with style – excellent save (to corner) by Tschauner, responding to a very clever Teixeira shot on 49′! Philipp though, had a lot of luck on his side one minute later when completely unguarded Kapllani (keep this), instead of scoring, sent the ball right were our keeper was 🙂 FCSP responded on 54′ with Daube trying a tight angle powerful shot, Klandt repeling and Schindler unable to finish (well guarded by Teixeira). What didn’t happened on 54′ though, happened on 58′ when Schindler provided Ginczek with the perfect pass for a correct finish this time – GOAL for FCSP!!! Sadly, cheerful atmosphere wasn’t meant to last long… FSV Frankfurt moved directly forward and actually it took them only 3 minutes to regain the lead – 62nd minute, corner kick to the UNGUARDED Kapllani (told you “keep this” 🙂 ), header in training mode and 2-1…At this point, FCSP just died plain and simple… the only serious occasion before full time whistle, was for the hosts (who were comfortably waiting us in the meantime) on injury time, with Tschauni saving the 3rd in front of Stark with the rest of our defense observing from distance like playing in a pensioner charity tournament…

Unlike the team, fans performed as usual according to the standards 🙂 (source:

Yes, Boller’s absence played a vital role. Yes, there was will and creativity during the biggest part of the game. But on the other hand there was an FCSP squad that during the first 15′ prefered diving instead of playing, there was lack of concentration for everyone to see and something like complete resignation for the last 30′ after 2-1 was achieved. Needs a lot more in order to say you’re happy after losing to FSV Frankfurt…Yesterday’s result leaves us at 12th place on the table (with a perspective for 13th). On Tuesday (YES, this is a mid-week matchday) we’re hosting VfR Aalen. Under “normal” circumstances, this should be a good opportunity to take a breath and climb a little on the table but seems that now the case is quite different… Whatever… after all people say that “Hope dies last”, right?

No special comments about Schubert this week from the Scum. Quite some on the web already…
