What do we care? We maybe an Athens based bunch but our tentacles reach UK just fine and this is not going to be missed! Are you located in England? if you’re aware of FCSP Blind Football and what this squad is about, you can stop here, see you on Sunday. Otherwise keep reading ^ ^

Department exists only for 15 years but in these 15 years they have managed to become the 2nd more successful department in the history of the Club, trailing only to our Rugby Ladies who count 7 (!) Bundesliga titles (1995, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2005–08). 3rd place 2016, Bundesliga Champions 2017, two lost heartbreaking finals afterwards, a lot of National Team Players and one of the finest Blind Football clubs in Europe, in general.

Leaving aside the obvious chance to see our Club performing on English soil, this is also a chance to become familiar with the sport itself. It’s different but it’s passionate and it can be as exciting as regular football. Had the chance to watch this squad before at home (in a lost derby vs Marburg unfortunately) and I can assure you that it was fuckin’ exciting! There’s also an additional reason, maybe the most important. Unlike other well paid pros, these guys glorify the club not at the spotlight but in the background, in order to hear the department discussed a little more it takes either a Bundesliga title or Serdal Celebi scoring the goal of the month, they deserve much more… And you know something? If you’re looking for FCSP values, you will find them here, they exist at a much bigger degree comparing with the Millerntor dressing rooms nowadays…

Tournament is taking place at St. George’s Park, Burton upon Trent, Newborough Road Needwood, Burton upon Trent DE13 9PD. FCSP match schedule is as follows:

10:30: West Bromwich Albion – FC St. Pauli

12:30: Merseyside Blind FC – FC St. Pauli

13:30: FC St. Pauli – Royal National College for the Blind

Important – rules of engagement, SONIC CHAOS is NOT allowed during the game, allowed only at squad entrance and when goals are scored. The reason behind that is quite simple. Game ball encapsulates a bell that helps players maintaining their orientation during the game.

Hardcore FCSP fans from around the area, see you on Sunday, FORZA SANKT PAULI ☠️☠️☠️
