Almost 3 years after his retirement (OK, we don’t forget the COVID too), Jan Philipp Kalla finally got the tribute he deserved. Almost everybody was there and words are sometimes poor to describe emotions, even for someone watching all this from some 2.000 Km distance… No problem, words are also poor to describe his contribution and what he means for the Club and all of us. THANK YOU SCHNECKE, YOU’LL NEVER WALK ALONE 🤎🤍❤️

Spectacle for junkies (like us 😅)
Friday, can smell the weekend but not there yet, FCSP playing around lunchtime can bring it much closer pretty early. Lots of absences due to the international break (Irvine already scored at home with Australia, in a game where rainbow FCSP flags were confiscated), a match mostly to keep the rest warm, a chance for a couple of youngsters to gain some time on the pitch, not much to begin with. No spectators either but streaming coverage offered by the Club, God (whatever 😁) Bless Home Working 🤘🏾🏴☠️
This one didn’t look good but don’t bother (yet)
Last test before returning to the league for the second (and most crucial) part and this one didn’t look as good as the previous one. There will be very few things to remember from today, however as most of us know and common sense commands, these matches are not a reliable measure of what’s eventually going to happen. Hopefully the ones who needed to extract some conclusions did so, now on to the real thing next weekend 🏴☠️

Following previous week’s “test” (was never the tough encounter we expected, took these guys 25′ to recover from the pub decay of the previous night 😆), we had a more serious affair today at Borussia-Park vs Borussia Mönchengladbach (Bundesliga resumes next week). We won again, not in the spectacular manner we did last week but this time Scum says that we have more reasons to be happy 🏴☠️

This is not exactly, what I was personally expecting to see here. Score can give you the impression that a brown white squad from another planet landed on Earth (Benidorm) and destroyed Lugano but truth is that our opponents (playing in the Swiss top tier and currently in Europa League position), regardless of what Hürzeler said (“very good opponent”), appeared much weaker than expected. No problem for the rest of us of course, two entertaining football hours and something to slowly start getting us in character in view of the 2nd round weekend “routine” 🏴☠️

Not really interested in “progress” (two weeks in Kollau under these circumstances can’t really do much, will wait the return from Benidorm), not even curious about the new trainer (who?), simply addicted to FCSP and, in this sense, just watching the squad playing whatever football they played (wasn’t bad actually) after 40 days or so was simply enough 🏴☠️
