Brief farewell to a Brown White comrade…

Since today morning we are poorer as Greek FCSP fan scene… Panos Diamantopoulos, one of the oldest members of the Athens Club and one of the oldest brown white comrades in general, left us unexpectedly this morning. Such times words and memorial speeches are cheap. Memories of shared experiences can wait for now, after all, things like our first ever trip to Hamburg some 9 years ago simply can’t go away. Wishes for courage and strength along with our deepest condolences to Nina (wife and also proud member of the Greek FCSP society), his entire family and to the brothers of the Athens Club…

Rest forever in peace brother, you will be missed…

News: Athens Antifa League Season III kickoff on Sunday!

Seems that the experiment is turning to an institution 🙂 Athens Antifa League season III starts this Sunday with increased expectations, thanks to the success of season II, which confirmed that the tournament is here to stay and that season I was not just a spontaneous initiative doomed, to fade after the Summer. Have your (sporting or not) gear ready, the time has come once more 😀

There is one good thing to the otherwise disgusting ( 😀 ) national football weekends, the break from the matchreport-after-matchreport “routine” and the ability to deal for a change with issues other than the usual FCSP flow but at least equally significant. Let’s leave for a little while brown & white aside and switch to yellow & black, not BVB dummy, FC Lampedusa Hamburg yellow & black 🙂

News: Athens Antifa League Playoffs coming up on weekend

Glorious season closing!

After a season full of thrill, doping, football scandals and tons of fun overall, the Athens Antifa League is reaching it’s conclusion on Weekend!  Two days of a different approach towards football which is more than welcome, especially this week where the Greek nation lives big moments of national hysteria, thanks to the unexpected triumph of the National team yesterday which suddenly helped everybody here to remember that we have the bravest soul, the longest dick and of course we have invented civilization 😀

The “Gefahrengebiet” police findings!!!

Hamburg Police published a list of objects that were found on people that were submitted to “proactive controls” between 4th and 12th of January within the neigborhood. This list of Horror is quite indicative of the problem and, in an indirect way, reveals the reasons than forced the HH Police bosses to take this dramatic decision and turn the area into a danger zone… If you think that you can stand the truth, please read what Walter (Athens Club correspondant) has to say 🙂
