Fair enough!

Final pre-season warm up game against Hertha BSC and the result found us more than happy, watching Sankt Pauli winning the first half and ending in a tie after Hertha being better in the second half but us making it to keep them in this 2-2 result. Many mistakes in the second half and one in the first led us in letting the game slip through our hands.

First preview

…and of course not really offered for fan conclusions, Too early for anything, squad will start tomorrow Summer preparation, this post is more about signifying the start of the new season (✊🏾) than commenting on a game that not even Millernton would “dare” to do a technical analysis for 😁

Do it like Borys…😎😂🤣

Borys Tashchy finally did it. Scored his first goal after so many attempts all this time being in the team’s ranks. After such a U-turn, anything is possible huh? Last friendly game before the season officially starts and still…we can’t say we’re super hyped judging by what we saw. The team has an almost new basic eleven formation so lot of things, still need to be worked out. But c’mon.  SönderjyskE finished 11th in the Danish third league in the 2019-2020 season and their new season starts on Friday. You wouldn’t exactly call that a challenge. Yet although Sankt Pauli managed to win (the least we could do), left us with a lot of questions concerning their readiness with the view to the opening of the season in two weeks from now!

Well, whatever 😎

Preparation for the new season in progress and of course nothing is like used to be. Not some training camp abroad, no relaxed warm ups against local pub selections and of course is end of August. A “delayed” and slightly shorter training camp at Herzlake and fewer test games, with almost no coverage (Club seems to be in dire straits financially). The chance of watching one of course was more than welcome 😎 A few more, along with some other news, below.

Sunshine after the storm

Header title can be read in two ways: a) as a positive development following Thursday’s chaos (more on that later) or b) (the miost important) as an indication of the things to come when this squad gets over this injury disaster that has taken place during the last months, things look bright there as well 😎

Shite but who cares?

The small treats of late June, a few days before my sorry ass gets back in Greece to see the crew for Summer and do some strategic planning for the forthcoming season (🥃🍻🦎), nothing happening in breezy (comparing to the rest of Europe including UK) Leeds and suddenly there you have it. Test vs FC Teutonia 05 live on the Club website, this could be interesting 😎
