Scheiße

Ok can someone please tell me that this was just a nightmare? A bad dream that we had to endure? Seriously? This was Sankt Pauli? This is the football team that started so hopefully the first two match days? A game of utter incompetence and imbecility at some point, where literally NOTHING worked.

Talk is cheap

Well, well, here we are… ^^ From a situation where everything was looking under control (people were asking Kauczinski about promotion on PKs 😀 ) some weeks ago to a point when we all start doing calculations about the points required to secure the league. The fact that this change is also a result of a crazy situation with most of the squads squashing within a quite narrow point range is not an excuse. It’s not only about our place in the table, it’s also about the football we play…

666

This is kinky! 666 and the Sleeping Beauty? Well, everything’s there for a reason 🙂 666 is not relative to the known Scum despise towards and kind of religion but rather to the known Millerntor “problem” that we already discussed on Matchday 10 and was perfectly put in numbers after full time by St. Pauli Stats on Twitter. 6 games, 6 goals, 6 points… Who’s the Sleeping Beauty? Not Tiamat’s Sleeping beauty dummy, it’s our defense of course 🙂

Simply move on

The gentleman you see here celebrating his achievement, made practically the only difference between us and them on Friday afternoon but unfortunately this was enough for the final 1-0, after almost a non-game, that got Aue out of the relegation zone for the moment and threw us back on the relegation playoff spot. This was really bitter, nevertheless it’s not the end of the world. No time for grief, just very limited time for adjustments, c’mon FCSP!

Fucked up as fuck…

“Oh fuck, this is simply terrifying”. This could be in a few words the conclusion of my first this season live FCSP experience. There are no words to describe the “spectacle” that the Boys in Brown “offered” to the fans in Millerntor and everywhere where people were watching the game and couldn’t believe what they actualy see. A more-awful-you-die performance/result that didn’t manage to ruin the trip (the positive side of getting fucked already on Friday) but sets for the first time some serious questions regarding our future in the league…

Entering the Event Horizon…

Smart guys doing physics define “event horizon” “as ‘the point of no return’, i.e., the point at which the gravitational pull becomes so great as to make escape impossible”. In case you wonder what’s the relation between the maximum-booze-consuming-minimal-brain-results-producing Scum crew and noble sports like Physics, the answer is easier than it looks. If you look anywhere around, you can always find an example of life immitating physics (or vice versa, if you prefer). Such a case we experienced this weekend at the Millerntor with FCSP, after failing once more to get a victory, this time against Erzgebirge Aue, entering the Event Horizon of…Liga 3…

Complete Disaster…

No, we were not ready for this… A simply inexistent FCSP for a big part of the game (there were “moments”), with a defense that couldn’t probably stand it’s ground even at the Antira tournament,  was completely annihilated yesterday by the worst so far (according to facts and numbers) squad of Liga 2. OK, we already knew that this is going to be a very tough season and a somehow long way to safety but this… shit man, I don’t even have the words here… Coach Meggle, welcome to Hell, you are in (we all are actually, we’re all together behind Meggle in this) for the ride of your life, better stay strong here…

Season Finale: A FLAG lowered with pride!

Last game of the season and last game for our honored captain, Mr Fabian Boll. In this last game of his career, the fans were there to honor the man that has managed to leave his mark in his way on Sankt Pauli. No reason to mention the dispute between Vrabec and the fans over the matter, cos this game marked the closing of a season in which, in good and bad, we were all there. No reason either to start nagging over bad results we happened to witness during the season, cos what we were saying all year round, came true. Sankt Pauli is a lot more than cheap results…
