It was alright 😎

Yeah, it was alright, especially considering the way it started. An ambitious (for the squad, fans are still trying to comprehend how we made it to 2nd round) evening that started like a bloody nightmare but ended in a completely dignified manner, leaving almost everybody (we can’t really tell about Haupttribune, they were really fast clearing the area) satisfied, if not by the football, by the tremendous effort that the Boys in Brown put into the game, well done 😉

Following the colossal (for some, we were confident on this and almost got ourselves exposed once more 😅) 1st round upset, with FCSP making it to the next round after a titan clash with VfB Lübeck, last weekend’s draw brought on our way Eintracht Frankfurt. Normally somewhere here (“here” as a figure of speech, match is in more than 2 months) must be the end of the road but a) it will be still a good way to close the pocal season and… b) don’t write us off just yet 😉

One step back…

We had our chance to escape (even temporary) from the direct relegation zone yesterday and at a certain point of the game it seemed like we’ve managed to do it… Still, an unlucky defensive moment was enought to turn the odds upside down and, at the end of the match, we were lucky to leave the field even with the single (still not enough) point… FCSP 1 – FSV 1 and the anguish carries on…

In the end…all cool!

Matchday 8 was our time to raid to the Northern suburbs and visit the ‘München Erichs Beer and Wurst Bar’ at Melissia, for a game which under other circumstances could be considered a definite win but after this year’s downhill, all results seem possible. Sausages, beer and good company were the elements to the scenery before and during the game.

Shit is also brown…

…something proved beyond any reasonable doubt yesterday, while suffering by watching a HORRIBLE (and quite dangerous for the vision) FCSP trembling in the pitch, like they had consumed what WE (or at least, some of us 😀 ) had, becoming a more than welcome snack (smelling anything than shit) for the teeth of the local FSV, and losing (thankfully not much, we were lucky here) precious ground at the promotion race. Thankfully, the FCSP fan system is full of antibodies of the famous substance called “humour”. Othewise, there was a big possibility, todays match report to be written in Braille language…

Walk On You Boys In Brown but you better sometimes  taking a look where you stepping first 🙂

Two goals, Tschauner (again) and a manificent coreo…

Hmmm…something ain’t right here…2-1 victory over FSV Frankfurt  and squad is currently positioned in the top 6 of the league table after a lot of time, hence everything should be roses… The reason that things don’t look so bright (at least at the neighborhood here) is the fact that for once more, what we kept from the game in the end was the 2 goals (actually only one of them but we’ll get to this later), some Tschauner saves and the feeling of anxiety while squad was trying to hold on and keep a result that was shaped in contrast to the overall game flow. Fortunately, this weekend there was an impressive classic coreo as well 🙂

Unexpectedly marvelous!!!

Completely out of the blue, an almost unrecognizable FCSP squad dismantled the ambitious FSV Frankfurt, playing incredibly (for OUR standards!) effective football, giving no right to the opponent to challenge the situation at any point of the game, and leaving us in the end a) with a huge smile on our faces and b) wandering what the fuck is going on with this incredibly erratic squad 🙂
