“One week after the end of the regular season and 25% of the squad have already said their goodbyes”. Beginning is copy paste from last year, nevertheless story behind is quite different, different season, different actors, different environment, different circumstances. The only thing that is probably common is the bitterness of the moments, regardless of who and why, is (usually, don’t forget Sahin) difficult to say goodbye…

Do it like Borys…😎😂🤣

Borys Tashchy finally did it. Scored his first goal after so many attempts all this time being in the team’s ranks. After such a U-turn, anything is possible huh? Last friendly game before the season officially starts and still…we can’t say we’re super hyped judging by what we saw. The team has an almost new basic eleven formation so lot of things, still need to be worked out. But c’mon. SönderjyskE finished 11th in the Danish third league in the 2019-2020 season and their new season starts on Friday. You wouldn’t exactly call that a challenge. Yet although Sankt Pauli managed to win (the least we could do), left us with a lot of questions concerning their readiness with the view to the opening of the season in two weeks from now!

Well, whatever 😎

Preparation for the new season in progress and of course nothing is like used to be. Not some training camp abroad, no relaxed warm ups against local pub selections and of course is end of August. A “delayed” and slightly shorter training camp at Herzlake and fewer test games, with almost no coverage (Club seems to be in dire straits financially). The chance of watching one of course was more than welcome 😎 A few more, along with some other news, below.
THANK YOU ☠️☠️☠️ Round II/The Day After

Following the “frantic” week right after the end of the season, when 9 brown white said farewell in different ways, things moved in a relatively slower pace. Has been more than a month since then, things started happening in between. Now, that we have a first picture of what’s happening, let’s say some more goodbyes and have a quick look at the new people on board 🏴☠️
THANK YOU ☠️☠️☠️

One week after the end of the regular season and 25% of the squad have already said their goodbyes, while some more are expected to follow during the forthcoming weeks… Lot’s of different stories behind the pictures, some of them usual, some of them real lessons on the things we have done as a club and we want to avoid in the future. Personally speaking (and probably for all my crew), having a look at this mosaic, can’t find someone that will not be missed, even a little…
News: “Happy” 2020, goodbye Mats…

If the first omens of a year could be the way to predict how it will go, we would be (and maybe we are anyway, hopefully not) already fucked… News of Mats Möller Daehli’s departure to…Genk came as a shock, at least to all of us that don’t live and work in and around Millerntor… Too early to know whens and hows, all that we know is that Mats, who had already plenty of options last Summer when he extended his contract, is leaving at his own request…
