For fucks sake! The sequel

Week ended almost the exact same way it started. In pain. The only elements that were missing it were the ones of surprise (because of the situation of course and not because of the squad good performance) and suspense. This time things went according to common sense, we lost again fair and square (this time to a theoretically superior squad) and who knows what’s coming up next week…

For fucks sake!

This was (and still is) a fuckin’ nightmare from the past… Having as an opponent a squad that has managed 3 consecutive relegations in the last 3 years (they’re still in Liga 3 thanks to 1860) FCSP forgot that in football (like any sport) you have to play in order to win and lost fair and square 2-1 to an excellent (considering the circumstances) Paderborn… Talk is cheap, so are excuses, what remains is probably the worst brown white Pokal fiasco of the last decade…

Neeext!!!

Hell of a night. Hell of a night man I tell ya!!! Soridon was more packed than ever for this second match day, and not only for our beloved brown white addiction. Everyone would watch the game anyway and everyone is always there 100%. What was special about today was the fact that Uncle Zouzounos (Greg) is moving to Leeds in England (Goodluck with that to the boys in Yorkshire…ha ha ha) so this was the last game we would watch together for the next two years. South End Scum and Athen Klub joined forces for a massive aura of positive energy. The best foreplay I’d say for a Sankt Pauli Match day

Taking things from where we left them

Hell Yeah! The wait is finally over. New season, new hopes, new expectations, blah blah blah, in a few words the time of the year where, while normal people are sinking for good in the Summer bliss in some Greek islands, all brown white junkies (and some of our Liga 2 colleagues I suppose 😀 ) are entering the state of fever which of course is not because of the Summer heat (especially down here we don’t give really a fuck) but clearly due to the state of our brains, operating at the red while burnt by the brown white madness 🙂 FCSP did all of us a favor and, starting from the exact same spot that last year’s incredible comeback reached to its end, prevailed over VfL Bochum at Vonovia Ruhrstadion, even though a little more difficult then expected 😉

S.E.S Ball

New season gameplan just out of the oven, with FCSP starting the season exactly where we stopped on May (Bochum) and closing it with a Sonderzug to the other end of Germany (Duisburg). One thing you should know is (<copy paste from last season section>) that, as usual, there are no specific dates/times at this point, it’s all conceptual at a match weekend level. This means that anybody who’s planning a trip at this stage should book at least from early Friday to early Tuesday (</copy paste from last season section>). This does not apply to the first 2 (exact schedule already in place) and the last 2 matchdays (all games are on Sunday).

OK brown white wackos, time to open calendars and start marking dates. You’ll find all FCSP fixtures listed below, start working 😉

After 3 weeks without action, before even getting used to life without FCSP, today’s draw came to remind us that next season is already under way. SC Paderborn came out as first opponent and we must do something really stupid in order to say goodbye to the cup from August. There’s only one problem, we’re occasionally prone to stupidity in August 🙂

…and they lived happily ever after 🙂

Important note: the following had been already completed in terms of text before today’s news break out, has been intentionally left in its original form, too complex to rewrite the end, let it be a witness of our yesterday’s agonies about “tomorrow” 😀

End of the road in real style for both squad and fanbase 🙂 Big performance inside, big party with more than 4.500 brown white wackos participating on the terraces, insanity at its best 😀 Absolutely deserved ending for one of the most soul exhausting seasons that we have lived the past years, comparable only with the 2014-15 drama and a weekend to remember smiling in the years to come. For anybody interested in numbers, we won 1-3 🙂

While last match report of the season was getting slooowly finished (still some media missing, will be up sometime 😉 ), the news on social media regarding a special press conference at Millerntor broke out. Shit, already some “suspicions” had risen from Sunday (there was also a post on Liga-Zwei already from May 18th that we chose not to reproduce it…) but this was going to fast… Fortunately, the final outcome was slightly different than the one I initially feared…
