Someone to score man. Someone needs to fuckin score. Having Magdeburg on the ropes, delivering an outrageous beating and still having them standing is simply unacceptable. 28 shots on target and not even one found its way in…Daaaaamn!!!

The first half kind of passed without any major action from both teams. On 7’ Albers after a corner from Saliakas proceeds in making an awesome control and shoots. Reimann though is placed well and blocks his shot. Magdeburg’s keeper has no trouble blocking a shot from Ritzka on 26’. Weak shot from Lars and kind of predictable…On 33’, Afolayan on a great pass to where Albers was standing. Crosses Reimann but Piccin interferes just before it find Albers and sends the ball to a corner. Last moment in this first half came in 45’ when Ritzka breaks into Magdeburg’s defense, sending a great pass to where Saad and Albers where waiting. Unfortunately Reimann is first to the ball though, blocking it!

Second half underway and it was all about Sankt Pauli. A barrage of shots on target unfortunately we did not make count. On 46’, Saliakas receives from Afolayan and sends a high pass to Albers. Albers goes for a header sending the ball out of bounds. On 47’, a corner from Hartel and Irvine on the header. A weak attempt causing no trouble for Reimann to block. Magdeburg’s keeper would not catch a break. On 52’, Albers is with the ball on his feet couple of meters before Magdeburg’s nets. Afolayan on his side but Albers decides to proceed on his own. Reimann blocks his attempt and sends the ball to a corner. On 54’, another header from Irvine goes a bit above Reimann’s upper post making his life easy. One moment later, on 55’, Saad with the ball on his feet passing to Irvine. Jackson again goes for yet another header sending it out of bounds, on Reimann’s left. Clock shows 60’ and Saliakas passes on to Irvine. Irvine shoots but Reimann blocks it this time. Great shot from Jackson but Reimann could not be caught off guard. On 64’, a corner from Hartel and this time Albers sends a header out of bounds. Two minutes later, on 66’, Afolayan sends the ball to Saliakas and then Saliakas opens a high pass to Albers who shoots but again…Reimann blocks it. Magdeburg’s only attempt was on 70’. A classic one with Castaignos attempting a shot. Vasilj blocks it and then Schuler on the rebound shot sends it out of bounds. On 84’, it was time for Banks to test his foot against Reimann with a great shot. Yet again Magdeburg’s keeper blocks it, saving the day for Magdeburg. Last moment in the game belonged to them. 87’ and after a corner for Magdeburg, Elfadli goes for the header. Vasilj is there blocking the ball.

Our fuckin game man. How can you have 28 shots on target and not even one goal? Well…For Sankt Pauli it is an easy job. Of course our 28 shots on target compete Magdeburg’s 5…..Only five shots on target so it is pretty clear whose game was it. Still this is not good enough. We have managed to have the best defense I personally have ever seen Sankt Pauli with but the front line is a sight for tears. Someone needs to start scoring. Most of the shots looked like practice shots against Reimann. Easy job for Magdeburg’s keeper to become a hero. Well…One point is better than none so….This Friday we play against Braunschweig, out. Let us hope to see our beloved brown-white squad improving this weak spot and scoring.. Forza Sankt Pauli ☠️☠️☠️
